About our monitoring bot

Requests with the user-agent toolsfor.it-monitor/1.0 come from a toolsfor.it customer checking that a URL is reachable, or that its TLS certificate is valid.

• It requests only the exact URL the customer configured, at most once per minute.
• It never follows redirects, crawls links, or submits forms.
• It reads at most 64 KB of the response and closes the connection.

If you believe the bot is checking your site without authorization, email security@toolsfor.it with the URL and we'll take a look.
